The GDIP Media Center and the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine invite you to a roundtable discussion on the role of Ukrainians abroad in public diplomacy, entitled Where the Ukrainian Heart Beats, which is to take place on Thursday, 26 June 2025, at 14:00 (GMT+3).
Today, Ukrainians are heard worldwide through music, media, halls of parliaments, and cultural venues. The voices of our communities abroad have become recognisable and strong. They speak about Ukraine and communicate its position to the international public. That is why we are bringing together those whose hearts beat in tune with Ukraine: together, we can rethink, strengthen, and improve the coordination of our shared power.
This event is more than a discussion. It is a space for dialogue, exchange, strategic thinking, and networking. We want to hear from those who create change and those who build bridges that connect Ukraine with the world. We also want to involve the country as a partner, which not only observes but also supports, bolsters, and rallies.
The focus is on the people: those who have already become Ukraine’s voices far beyond its borders.
Opening remarks:
- Mariana Betsa, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
