This is a historical and cultural complex with authentic 17th-19th century interiors. You will visit the largest museum of folk icons in Eastern Europe, containing more than five thousand exhibits of Christian art. You will have an opportunity to look into the mink’s cell, feel the beautiful acoustics of the unique concert hall. A master’s show on paper making, using ancient technology, will be the highlight of the tour. Such paper used to be made by monks for the ancient manuscripts of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, and you will get the chance to witness the whole process with your own eyes.
