Exclusive tour «The Mysterious Lieberman’s Mansion»

The Neo-Renaissance style estate, the former home of sugar merchant Symkha Lieberman, is a real gem of the 19th-century Lypky aristocratic neighbourhood and one of the most mysterious buildings in the modern Government quarter. Here, the unique interiors — marble staircases with metal railings, stuccoed ceilings adorned with delicate handwork, walls decorated with carved oak panels, a fireplace, and Dutch ovens lined with expensive tiles — have been preserved almost in their original form. You will view most of the interiors the owner created for his family and learn the history of the house, which stores more than a century’s worth of memories of the people and events associated with it. You will also witness the consequences of the impact of a russian drone on the building and its gradual reconstruction through the efforts of the volunteers from Kyiv’s non-governmental organisations. You will also discover numerous symbols hidden in the interior.

So, let’s unravel the mysteries of the historic estate and find out if it really had a sliding ceiling.
