Celebration of the National Guard of Ukraine Day

On 26 March 2025, on the occasion of the professional holiday — the National Guard of Ukraine Day — celebrations took place at the Military Unit of the NGU.

During the gathering, the command honoured the best National Guard members and paid tribute to the warriors who gave their lives in the fight for their homeland. Among those who extended their congratulations to the personnel were Pavlo Kryvonos, GDIP Director-General, Artem Romaniuk, Deputy Director-General, as well as representatives of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, state authorities, local self-government bodies, and veterans of the military unit.

Colonel Maksym Masnyi, the brigade commander, noted:

‘The daily work, determination, and loyalty to the military oath of each serviceperson form the foundation of our country’s security and stability. Over the past years, we have faced numerous challenges, yet thanks to each of you, we have become even stronger.’

Celebrity guests, namely singer Svitlana Tarabarova, KARTA SVITU band leader Ivan Marunych, and singer, composer and musician KÓRNEL, also shared their congratulations with the National Guard.

We thank the soldiers for their protection.
