On 8 October, an official presentation took place for the certificate awarded for completing the Ukrainian language course from the State Enterprise ‘Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions’.
Ricardo López-Aranda Jagu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine, received the certificate for achieving an A2 level in the Ukrainian language. This level reflects the Ambassador’s diligent effort, considering he had not studied any Slavic languages prior. It also demonstrates respect for Ukrainian culture and its people.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the high level of professionalism shown by the course instructor — Oksana Kalyta, PhD in Philology and Associate Professor at the Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University, who adopted an individual approach to each student and aimed to immerse them in Ukrainian history.
We appreciate the students-diplomats for their hard work, active engagement in learning the Ukrainian language, and desire to better understand Ukraine’s culture, history, and literature.
The Media Center Directorate offers individual and group classes in an online format. Join us in learning the Ukrainian language!
