Director-General of the GDIP Pavlo Kryvonos met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome

On 9 January 2025, GDIP Director-General Pavlo Kryvonos paid a visit to the Embassy of Japan and talked to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Masashi Nakagome. Advisor to Director-General Ilona Lukach was also present at the meeting.

The Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine have cooperated for decades. His Excellency Mr Nakagome assumed charge of his mission in Kyiv in the autumn of 2024. During the negotiations, Mr Kryvonos gladly introduced the Ambassador to the historical background of the partnership and shared the details on the buildings in Kyiv that the Embassy uses. Their dialogue also addressed the practical aspects of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Pavlo Kryvonos gifted the diplomat the GDIP’s souvenir products and printed materials and promised to provide comprehensive support for his activities in Ukraine.
