On Thursday, 4 September 2025, Director-General Pavlo Kryvonos met with Guillaume Habert, the newly appointed Director of the French Institute in Ukraine, Cultural and Cooperation Counsellor of the French Embassy, at the headquarters of the State Enterprise ‘Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions’.
Oksana Mykytenko, leading administrative and accounting specialist, attended the meeting on behalf of the French Institute, and Romana Kasiianchuk, Acting Head of the Media Center Directorate, Head of the Advertising and Publishing Department, and Ivan Vasylets, Adviser to the Director-General on Social and Political Issues.
During the meeting, Pavlo Kryvonos briefed the guests on the enterprise’s areas of work, arrangement of cultural leisure for representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps, implementation of various projects, publishing activities, including the Diplomatic Ukraine scientific yearbook, and announced upcoming events, inviting the guests to join in.
In addition, the GDIP Director-General informed Mr Habert about the history of the French Institute’s premises and the specifics of the restoration and construction works professionally carried out by the Rembudekspluatatsiia Directorate in 2021.
Guillaume Habert thanked the GDIP Director-General for the longstanding cooperation and expressed hope for its fruitful continuation. The parties discussed the prospects for the development of business relations between the French Institute and GDIP.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts. Pavlo Kryvonos presented the distinguished guest with the GDIP branded products.
