Signing of a contract between the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine and the GDIP

On Wednesday, 1 April 2026, a lease contract for the Ambassador’s residence was concluded at the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine. On behalf of the State Enterprise ‘Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions’, the document was signed by Director-General Pavlo Kryvonos, and on behalf of the Embassy by Masashi Nakagome, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, acting on behalf of the Government. 

The agreement provides for the extension of the lease of the residence for the next ten-year period, which is a testament to the lasting bilateral cooperation and mutual trust between the parties, and serves as a confirmation of the proper standard of conditions ensured for the functioning of foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine.
