Diplomats Visited Klovskyi Palace

On Saturday, 27 September 2025, as part of a weekend excursion, the Media Center Directorate organised a visit to Klovskyi Palace — an 18th-century architectural monument of national significance — for representatives of diplomatic missions.

The event brought together Kanwar Ahmed Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Ukraine; staff from the embassies of Finland, Canada, Moldova, and Sweden; and representatives of international organisations in Ukraine, including the European Union, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and the Ukrainian Mutual Aid Society.

During the visit, the diplomats explored the interior of the grand Ukrainian Baroque building, one of the architectural highlights of Kyiv’s historic centre. Since 2009, the building has housed the Supreme Court. Guests ascended the ceremonial staircase, toured the meeting and conference halls, and visited the Supreme Court Museum. There, they examined historical documents and materials, judicial robes and insignia from various periods, as well as commemorative gifts from foreign partners.

The excursion left a strong impression on the diplomats. They admired not only the building’s beauty but also the substance of the exhibition, which allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of both the history and contemporary practice of the Ukrainian judicial system. The visit provided the guests with an enriching experience and a deeper appreciation of the country’s cultural and institutional context.
