On Tuesday, 10 June 2025, GDIP Director-General Pavlo Kryvonos met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Åberg in the main office of the Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions.
Kerstin Wahlfort, Chancellor of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine, and GDIP representatives: Artem Romaniuk, Deputy Director-General; Ilona Lukach, Protocol Advisor to the Director-General; Olena Trofimenko, Head of the Real Estate and Contracts Department; and Romana Kasiianchuk, Acting Head of the Media Center Directorate, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Pavlo Kryvonos briefed the guests on the main areas of GDIP’s work, including the organisation of cultural leisure for foreign diplomats, implementation of various projects, and publishing activities. He highlighted the Diplomatic Ukraine scientific yearbook and invited Mr Ambassador to contribute to it as an author. The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation between the institutions. Martin Åberg expressed interest in holding events at the Media Center and organising leisure at the GDIP Sports and Diplomatic Club. At the conclusion of the meeting, Pavlo Kryvonos presented the Ambassador with commemorative gifts: GDIP’s branded souvenirs and publications.
