On Saturday, 7 December 2024, the GDIP Media Center hosted a creative workshop on painting Christmas ornaments. Representatives from the embassies of Austria, Canada, and the United States, as well as staff members from the UN Office in Ukraine, attended the event.

Under the guidance of Olesia Tokarska, an experienced folk artist and painter, participants crafted their own Christmas ornaments by painting baubles. During this engaging event, international guests depicted festive scenes inspired by childhood memories: a Christmas night, snow-covered fir trees, the moon in a deep-blue sky, and charming houses radiating familial warmth. The workshop allowed attendees to immerse themselves in a magical, fairy-tale-like atmosphere and recall happy moments from their lives.

The unique ornaments created during the workshop will bring warmth and fond memories of Ukraine’s enchanting winter holidays to members of the diplomatic community for years to come.
