On 8 October 2024, the main office of the State Enterprise ‘Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions’ hosted a meeting between SE GDIP representatives and a Business Sweden delegation.
Trade Commissioner Andreas Giallourakis and project managers Andrii Shakotko and Marharyta Sahylevych represented the Swedish Trade Office at the meeting.
Pavlo Kryvonos, Director-General of the SE GDIP, spoke about the enterprise’s history, structure, subordination, and activities, emphasising that its primary areas are property leasing, construction, and renovation. The guests received information about publishing activities, guided tours, events involving students, transportation, staffing services, etc. Additionally, the discussion included the active leisure programmes offered at the Sports and Diplomatic Club on Trukhaniv Island.
At the end of the meeting, the trade office representatives shared their plans for future work in Kyiv, aimed at expanding business relations between Ukraine and Sweden.
Later that same day, another significant diplomatic meeting took place with Ernal Filo, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine. The opening of Albania’s Embassy in Ukraine is a historic event, especially in times of war. Mr Shakhin Omarov, Honorary Consul of Albania in Ukraine, also attended the meeting.
In conclusion, all participants expressed their gratitude for the negotiations and confidence in the fruitful development of cooperation.
